GREAT

Razer is known for PC gaming, so why use its Kiyo Pro webcam on a Mac? Well, this remarkably well–made device exudes quality, from its rock-solid construction to its lengthy braided (USB–A to USB–C) cable. Its primary draw, though, is its adaptive low–light sensor.

First, a major caveat: Razer’s Synapse app, which adjusts brightness, the field of view, and more, does not work on Macs (Razer told us an app is in the works, though). Your video–calling app might let you adjust these settings, and if you also have a PC, you can adjust settings in Synapse there and the Kiyo Pro will remember them on your Mac. Basics like autofocus and light-sensing work on both platforms.
