Made for iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch
Needs iOS or iPadOS 14.0 or later
Apple likes to tout the iPad as being capable of replacing a computer but in some areas it still falls short of being able to do so. One example is using external monitors. Although you can physically connect to a second screen with a cable or wirelessly using AirPlay, iPadOS and iOS limit you to simply mirroring what’s on the device’s screen. And even worse, you’ll often get mismatched aspect ratios, resulting in wasted empty space on the external screen.
