Leaving her husband and children in Joburg was not an easy thing to do
A FEW months ago, Baby Cele got married for the third time – this time to the love of her life, Thabo Maloka. But soon after being married, the actress got a role on Mzansi’s loved drama series, Uzalo based in Durban, an opportunity she could not say no to. While this great role was a blessing, being away from her husband and children was something that wasn’t easy to come to terms with.
MAKING THE DECISION TO MOVE
She had to move from Johannesburg to Durban for work. However, the decision comes at a time that as a newly wed, she is still adjusting to the dynamics of marrying the man of her dreams.
“When I got the new job, I kept it to myself at first because I didn’t know how I would have this conversation with him. But my husband is so sweet and understanding. He supported my dream and we agreed that this would make sense for us in many ways,” she says.
