Skeem Saam actress explains why she will never move out of Soweto
IF there’s one thing Dieketseng Mnisi, popularly known as MaNtuli on SABC1’s Skeem Saam, hates is being called a celebrity. For her, the celebrity tag is the reason many people are living fake lives. Her career spans over 39 years and she has grown in different facets of the entertainment industry. For her, all that matters is the quality of her work and not the fame.
LIVING A SIMPLE LIFEAs it can be expected, a day spent in a public space can be quite overwhelming when you are on a show that is watched and loved by millions of South Africans.
“I appreciate the love people have shown me over the years. I make time for all the people who greet me, it’s not like I pay to smile and be kind to them,” she says.
