Generation's actress finds it hard to move on with her life after a student lost her life in an accident where she was driving
SHE is known as the tough Lucy on Generations – The Legacy, however in real life, Manaka Ranaka (38) is hurting and still living with pain after she accidentally drove into Millicent Mbonani, who was a Grade 12 student. Manaka tells Move! that she is trying hard to move on with her life but it is not easy because she constantly thinks about the young girl who had dreams and aspirations.
ACCIDENT THAT CAUSED SO MUCH PAIN
She says that she will never forget the day her car hit Millicent and everything that happened that day. She says what hurts her the most is that Millicent was young and she had a long life ahead of her.
“The most painful thing that happened on that day is that someone lost her daughter in that accident. This is something that I will live with for the rest of my life. It's sad that Millicent was a young and bright girl who wanted to live her life to the fullest. My heart still bleeds when I think of this. That accident will haunt me for the rest of my life,” she says.
She adds that she would appreciate it if the authorities could speed up the matter as it has been dragging on for a long time.
“I hope everything will be dealt with accordingly as far as this matter is concerned. The Mbonani family and I need closure,” she says.
