Actress talks about how she will dazzle viewers in her new role
ACTRESS, Moshidi Motshegwa (41), is excited to be back to dazzle viewers with her talent after being off-screen for five years. She tells Move! how her role on The River, a new drama series scheduled to air on January 29 on Mzansi Magic, was just what she needed in her career and personal life.
TELLING OUR OWN STORIES
Moshidi says she looks forward to working with fellow cast members, Sindi Dlathu and Hlomla Dandala, who have made the experience more exciting for her.
On The River, she plays Malefu, whose husband has died. Malefu goes through many struggles, but remains prayerful. She also has to deal with a son who happens to be a criminal.
“The honesty, simplicity and truth of the story blew me away. This is a South African story that is seldom told,” she says.
