Fans say the late music producer's statue looks nothing like him
SOUTH Africans were shocked when they heard the news of the passing of Robbie ‘Intsimbi’ Malinga a few weeks ago. He was laid to rest recently and the tombstone that was erected in his honour turned out to be a big debacle on social media, so much so that it was removed.
ROBBIE’S STATUE REMADE
A life-size statue was erected at Robbie’s gravesite on the day of his funeral. The seventon statue depicted him in a blue suit, red tie and his favourite item – dark shades. Robbie’s fans heavily criticised the statue on social media and said it did not look like him at all. Some said it looked like his father, while others said it looked like Robbie’s business partner, TK Nciza.
