Women in Praise share their journey from being backing vocalists to having their own group

WOMEN In Praise are a spirit-filled group whose calling is to lead people to God. Their heartwarming voices and anointing is what sets them apart from other gospel groups. True to form, the group, which was established in 2008, continues to push the envelope with their sound and performances by evoking a deep sense of spiritual zeal.

FORMING THEIR OWN GROUP

Made up of Thando Makhaphela, Lydia Molise, Princess Jodwana and Precious Mosotho, the group got their start as back up vocalists for Spirit of Praise.

Auditions were held to select singers who would form Women in Praise.
