Kate & Goldie We're As Thick As Thieves!

The devoted duo tell why their bond is so strong.

Goldie Hawn and her daughter Kate Hudson share an incredible bond. They openly share on social media how much they adore each other and meet up most mornings to chat, have a coffee or even cry together.

But Kate (40) admits that inviting Goldie to the birth of her second child, Bingham, may not have been the best idea.

The perennially youthful Private Benjamin star wolfed down pizza and Doritos in the birthing suite, urged Kate to sniff a lotus flower and kept offering advice until she was told in no uncertain terms to be quiet.

A contrite Goldie (73) promised to be more respectful with Kate’s third child Rani Rose, whose father Danny Fujikawa (32) was also at the birth.

“I was careful, and I said, ‘Would it be okay? Do you want me in the room?’” says Goldie. “See, I’m really a fair mother.”

She did still manage to get in the way, however.

“The doctor was leaning down… and I’m trying to look over his shoulder,” she says. “I see the head and I’m going, ‘Oh! There’s the head!’ He said, ‘Goldie, if you get any closer, you’re going to fall in!’ So I took my cue. I didn’t get closer.”

Goldie is a devoted grandmother and regularly pops around to Kate’s house to evaluate Rani’s clothes.
