A year after rekindling their relationship, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are looking for a love nest – in Britain.
The Hollywood A-listers, who called off their first engagement in 2004, are believed to be house-hunting for a mansion on the outskirts of London.
“There is a very trusted team looking for the perfect home for Ben and J.Lo,” a source close to the couple has revealed, adding that the pair want a bolthole in a leafy area of the city, “close to Heathrow Airport but also near enough to some of the big studios such as Leavesden and Shepperton.”
The couple’s move, timed for the Northern Hemisphere summer, is reportedly due to dad-of-three Ben’s involvement in the upcoming Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
And the news has delighted fans, who have been thrilled by their successful reunion.
Jennifer, 52, and Ben, 49, first fell in love in 2001 on the set of their movie Gigli. Ben got down on bended knee with a $3.7 million, 6.1-carat pink diamond ring in 2002, but the duo called off their 2003 nuptials two days before their big day.
The following January they split for good and their subsequent reunion – almost 17 years to the day after they called off their love affair – is worthy of a Hollywood rom-com all by itself.
