Prince Andrew’s demand to have a trial by jury in his upcoming sex abuse case has “deeply shocked” Prince Charles, Prince William and other senior royals.
“Andrew is on a collision course with the palace over this,” a source close to the British royals has revealed.
Instead of fighting American Virginia Giuffre’s allegations that she was trafficked by paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, and forced to have sex three times with Prince Andrew when she was 17 years old, insiders say members of the royal family have been urging Andrew to settle the civil case out of court.
