After suffering with bulimia during her time in Steps, Claire Richards began ‘reverse dieting’ and turned to binge eating after the band split up in 2001.
She yo-yoed between a size 10 and 20 for years, but when we meet up with her at The Big London Bake to speak to her about her debut solo album, My Wildest Dreams, it’s clear to see that Claire is now a far cry from that person.
After losing six stone in 2013, she’s managed to keep the weight off and puts it down to her children, Charlie, 11, and Daisy, nine, who she has with her husband, Reece Hill, 49.
