To some people, my wildlife garden at home in the Cotswolds that I share with my partner, Dudley, will look a bit of a muddle, and I am sure some will even go as far as to exclaim, ‘OMG, she doesn’t even own a lawnmower!’.
You see, we’ve got different parts to the garden, including an area of long grass that I don’t ever mow and won’t ever mow – and it’s the way I like it, watching all the insects buzzing around in the grass.
I love to garden very much for wildlife and I don’t grow anything unless it’s going to attract bees, butterflies and moths, or provide berries, nectar and pollen. I spend ages tracking down different plants that will appeal to the wildlife.
