The first thing three-time Paralympian Ben Tudhope did the moment he claimed bronze in the snowboard cross at the Beijing Paralympic Winter Games was pick up the phone and share the news with his biggest fans – who also happen to be his family.
“He’s been snowboarding since he was nine, and was only 14 at his first Winter Paralympics. We can’t believe our son Ben just won a medal – he did it!” mum Melissa shares exclusively with Woman’s Day from the family’s home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
