'He made us laugh until we cried'

The US comedian will forever be in the hearts of his Full House family

They started as castmates in 1987 but by the time Full House ended in 1995 its stars were like family, albeit sometimes dysfunctional. And so it was with great sadness fellow actor and friend John Stamos penned a moving tribute to Bob Saget, who died peacefully in his sleep aged 65 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, while on tour in Florida last week.

Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us, wrote the broken” and grieving actor in the Instagram post.

“Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob's honour, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.
