Alec & Hilaria Marriage In Crisis!

The actor has defended his wife, but the public backlash is taking its toll on their relationship

Alec Baldwin has weathered some family scandals in his time, but none quite so eyebrow-raising as his second wife Hilaria Baldwin fabricating a Spanish heritage.

The 36-year-old has become the butt of internet jokes around the world after being outed as not Hilaria from Mallorca with a darling accent, but instead, Hillary Thomas who was born and raised in Boston to comfortable, middle-class, very much American parents who enjoyed holidays in the European sunshine.

Last week, it was also revealed that Hillary’s father David is obsessed with all things Spain. “My path in life has been heavily influenced by Spanish language and culture, and not because I have one iota of Latin blood in my veins,” he shared in a blog post from 2015.
