A multimillion-dollar Vegas deal is putting pressure on the iconic singer

Most would assume that after six decades in the business, Barbra Streisand might have conquered her demons, but unfortunately it's not the case.

Her 80th birthday celebrations were seemingly overshadowed last week, with Woman's Day's top Tinseltown insiders revealing that a combination of Barbra's debilitating stage fright and neverending diva reputation are getting in the way of her golden years both professionally and personally.

To mark her special milestone, the Yentl superstar has reportedly been offered a Las Vegas residency to the tune of $300 million - money and career stability so many couldn't refuse - but those closest to the songstress admit her performance anxiety is stopping negotiations in their tracks.

Making matters worse is the fact Barbra's husband James Brolin, who she married in 1998, is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with the performer's indecisiveness.

"It's not about money, they have plenty of that, although she does get a kick out of making records, with the offers coming out of Vegas. But for James it's about Barbra's legacy and her lifelong fans," tells a source, who insists her voice remains incredible.
