The father and son plan to win Harry back

Prince Charles is preparing harder than ever to become king in the most challenging environment the royals have ever faced, and in his strategy to save the monarchy – especially its dwindling bank account – he is starting with a problem close to home.

Still reeling from his youngest son Prince Harry ditching the family and escaping to Los Angeles, widely believed to be at the behest of his wife Duchess Meghan, Charles and his eldest son Prince William have hatched a plan to win him back – without her.

“The royal finances are looking flimsy after the coronavirus pandemic,” says a source. “Charles has been advised to cut spending, and Harry and Meghan – who cost him several million a year out of his own pocket – are the deadest weight of all.”
