Nearly a decade after they split, the pair are still at loggerheads, this time over Seal’s new woman

When Seal stepped out with a pretty blonde in St Tropez earlier this month, his fans immediately drew comparisons to the singer’s ex Heidi Klum.

“He def has a type,” commented one online.

It soon emerged that the supermodel lookalike was the 58-year-old singer’s former personal assistant, Laura Strayer, and the pair are now officially dating after first meeting in 2006, when she worked for Seal and his then-wife Heidi.

DOUBLE STANDARD

Friends say the coupling has “enraged” Heidi, 48, who is now married to German musician Tom Kaulitz, 31.

“Seal’s got some nerve,” says a pal. “After slamming her for dating ‘the help’ years ago, he’s gone and done it himself. It’s the last straw for Heidi, who has been battling with Seal over parenting their now-teenage kids. He’s much more strict with them than she is and it’s a constant battle. But his choice of new girlfriend, who used to get Heidi’s coffee years ago, has poured fuel on the fire. He’s never publicly apologised for that comment and he needs to now.
