Selfies were all over the news in 2015. And as of January 2016 Mumbai police have identified 15 places where taking selfies is dangerous.
Japan banned the use of selfie sticks within its 1195 stations and the Russian government has even launched a ‘safe selfie’ campaign. The focus is always on the number of places where selfies are banned and a number of deaths caused by selfies. What is the rationale behind the ‘no selfie movement’. Safety and interest rank on top of the list. However, the anti-selfie activists have more to add on to the list.
