How to avoid them.
Make-up is all about one's appearance, a matter of personal taste. There are no rules about what looks good on whom. However, there are certain things which you should keep in mind and should not do with your make-up in general.
Celebrity make-up artists Mouna Lall lists these make-up mistakes, to make your life a lot easier.
Always use moisturising cream: One must wash and apply a cream or moisturiser depending on skin type at least 15 minutes before pruning the skin.
Using a make-up primer: A primer helps the foundation to have a smooth surface to settle on, making one’s make-up last long.
Right type and colour of foundation:
Not using the right type and color of foundation according to skin type i.e.: if one has dry skin any kind of moisturiser can be used whereas if you have an oily skin, only water-based foundations should be used.
All Indians have brown skin be it fair or dark. So we should use a foundation nearest to our skin colour with a yellow tint instead of using a lighter foundation which will eventually emulsify in mixing with the natural skin oil and turn grey. You must have heard many times, “Oh my skin turned dark after a few hours”. So we must celebrate and be proud of our skin tone.
