Why is it so in women?

Regression

Not to be very expressive, not to be assertive in terms of strength, not to be dominant in her thoughts, not to be aggressive in her day-to-day affairs. This is what is expected of a woman always. She is always supposed to be guided by somebody all her life, somebody who could be her father or husband or brother or partner or lover. Why? Why women always are to be seen as victims/objects/easy to grab things?

Since childhood, women are raised with the preconditioned minds and preconceived notions of their parents, family and the regressive gender-biased society. Preconditioned mind as in with the dos and don’ts which only a girl child has to face.

Regression reflecting in stereotyping of questions as in how they should behave. What they should wear, what they should talk, how they have to make everybody happy in their family, what the responsibility of a girl child is and above all, what is expected of a girl child in order to prove her existence in this man's world.

With these prerequisite perceived warped ideas girls are commonly raised in their families. They are made to believe that the purpose of their life is to make sacrifices in order to make everybody happy in the family because the more sacrifices they make the more celebrated a woman they are in their surroundings, family and society. And the sad part of which is that women themselves don’t give a thought to it.

A woman’s perspective

A woman learns to draw her strength from the outside environment in her process of growing up since childhood. What is implied by outside environment is that she is conditioned in a manner that she will feel important only if somebody else, from her family or maybe her circle of acquaintances, will say/make her realise the value of her existence, her deeds.
