The spring lay vicious, wrapped in autumn leaves, serene and beautiful, fifty shades darker than it was last year. It’s impossible to fathom what has gone with the Wind, but something is so happening making my life magical. As I pull the sheets off the corner, I see Tommy at the windows, perhaps savoring the quicksilver accentuated illumination of the Universe.
I make my way through the myriad circumstances when I am reminded of my past, that part with my granddaughter, Kate. She was so acquainted, warm, melancholic and perfect. It was when her parents migrated to the cities that we became the same parts of the constellation. Back then, she was so young, carefree and happy-go-lucky. Reminiscing about her brings tears to my eyes.
As the flowers blossomed and the land was filled with withered leaves, I could see Kate, pondering over something and penning them down. I could never bear to see her wilt, so I moved closer to enquire what was upsetting her.
“What’s wrong Kate? You seem to be hurt.”
