How can I improve my H photography? - is a common question. Believe me, it's not only about good cameras or equipment. Photography is an art, and I believe it can be improved by nourishing your thinking process. Always try to create the image you are dreaming of. But remember, in the wilderness, you will get only a single opportunity. If you give your hundred percent in that moment, I can assure you, the image will be a remarkable one. Moreover, you need to focus on three basic things when in the field:
1. Know your subject: No species is predictable in the wild, but there are discernible patterns of behaviour. The subject leads the photographer's decisions about lighting, composition, exposure settings, etc. How do you decide what shutter speed to use without knowing if your subject is standing still or moving? The subject plays an essential role in shaping the entire image. A closer study of the place and the targeted species will definitely provide an added advantage.
2. Be patient: Wildlife photography can be rewarding and frustrating at the same time. It can be a challenge to your patience. Anything can happen at any time, but most things happen only rarely. Or, they rarely coincide with the exact time that you are in that specific spot. It is therefore imperative to be patient and the field
3. Learn from your mistakes: Getting overexposed, blurry or badly composed photos can be frustrating, but rather than letting such photos discourage you, use them as a learning tool. The next time you get a bad photo; do not immediately hit the delete button. Instead, spend some time studying the photo to work out what went wrong and how you could improve it.
