The country's leading nature and wildlife publication, Saevus magazine, joins with Rotary Clubs nationwide to bring the SAEVUS ECO-ACHIEVERS QUIZ, powered by TATA Motors and SBI. Teams of three students composed of fifth, sixth, and seventh graders participated in the quiz to support the natural environment!
The Eco-Achievers Quiz is a tremendously popular and unique initiative created by Saevus magazine to promote its concept of "conservation through appreciation" and to foster a strong sense of environmental awareness among pupils. The theme of the quiz was "Juxta", and students were asked questions regarding nature and wildlife-related subjects from a variety of disciplines, including literature, science, film, mythology, and more.
The quizzes were held between September and January, in partnership with the Rotary Clubs in more than 40 towns around the nation. During the months from August through December, city rounds were held. The final match, which took place in February 2023, featured the champions from these city rounds.
In order to address conservation challenges and other environmental harms, children's participation and responsibility are essential. By sharing their knowledge, experience, and participation with their local communities, these kids have the potential to become ambassadors for climate action and environmental conservation as they mature into aware citizens.
