Hyundai Ioniq 5, a ground-up EV with several design titles to its name, is an RWD drift machine in the right hands, and then there’s India’s sportiest EV near the 50L price bracket, a sleeper performance AWD EV based on its ICE sibling, the Volvo XC40 Recharge. There is a price difference between the two, but both these cars offer great value propositions considering the package they bring to the roads. India is inching towards electricity as an alternative fuel, and the infrastructure is increasing rapidly compared to other alternative fuels of the past. We pit these two EVs against each other to discover what these cars offer.
