The Mahindra XUV400 has been a long time coming. Mahindra first announced plans to launch an electric SUV in 2017 and the XUV400 has been in development since then. The Mahindra XUV400 builds upon the design of its predecessor, the XUV300, while incorporating distinctive elements to set itself apart from its combustion-engine variant. Notably, the vehicle dons an eye-catching copper colour that adorns every surface, including the roof. The front grille has been replaced by the striking Twin Peaks logo, which is now prominently displayed. Copper tones are also incorporated into the front bumper and faux grille, further emphasizing the electric theme. In a departure from the convention of using blue hues for electric vehicles, Mahindra have opted for a copper theme, drawing inspiration from the copper wires used in electric motors. This unique approach distinguishes the XUV400 as one of the first Mahindra models to feature the new Twin Peaks logo in an electrifying copper finish.
