The steering wheel receives the "Ist" logo with a metal-finish inset made of aluminium. A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, leatherette upholstery, an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, and ambient lighting are also included in the Anniversary Edition because it is based on the Style version.

Two engines, one of which is a fuel-efficient 1.0-litre turbopetrol generating 115 hp, are combined with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic to power this little SUV. For enthusiasts, there is the GT standard model, which comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 150 hp and comes either with a six-speed manual gearbox or a sevenspeed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

For us to experience the performance and handling of the Taigun, Volkswagen India set up a special track with a host of different layouts which included a speed run, slalom course, moose test (or, in India, we should call it the cow/bull test), and, lastly, a small Gymkhana Track.

In this car, swerving in and out of traffic jams becomes easy because of the smooth flow of torque. The DSG automatic gearbox is undoubtedly the Taigun 1.5's best feature. This sevenspeed DSG is always up to the task, whether it be a leisurely stroll
