MOTORING FOR MOVEMBER

More than 5000 enthusiasts from the UK, Japan, Portugal, Costa Rica, Turkey and elsewhere took part in the fourth running of The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive on 29 September.

The global charity fundraiser encourages classic car fans to organise road trips and gatherings in aid of men's health charity Movember. In total, 183 events in 60-plus countries helped raise more than $400,000.

This year's top fundraiser was John Ray, who joined almost 100 pre-1985 cars on a 60-mile drive from Duke of London's Brentford headquarters to the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex.

Driving his 1953 Jaguar XK120, John surpassed his initial target of £1979 and raised more than £9000, contributing to the West London gathering's £25,000 total.
