Mention Swiss knife and you don't need me to tell you we're talking versatility and multi-tasking. And the Hyundai Venue fits the bills quite well, as we found out on a road trip to Rajasthan. Its 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine dishes out 120PS and 172Nm, sent to the front wheels via the updated 7-speed DCT while the ride quality makes it quite the choice as a family SUV too. But as we found out last month, there's more to the Venue than being just a city slicker! Its three-pot engine feels very refined and helps in making the Venue one of the most powerful compact SUVs on sale in the country, while the DCT on offer now is the updated, second-generation version that offers quicker and smoother gear changes.
