While protecting the precious multi-billiondollar legacy of her late husband, KK Modi, Dr Bina Modi has proven her mettle as a worthy custodian of his cherished dreams. Undaunted by the trials and tribulations and slings and arrows on the rocky path she chose to tread after his untimely demise in 2019, she has faced all with a steely resolve as a business person and a woman entrepreneur.

Despite all the odds her vibrant spirit and entrepreneurial vision has ensured that the KK Modi Group has stood steadfast in maintaining its profitability.

Plaudits aplenty have come the way for Dr Bina Modi, Chairperson and Managing Director of Modi Enterprises KK Modi Group, in recognition for her amazing journey. Dr Bina Modi, who is also the Chairperson and Managing Director of Godfrey Phillips India, as well as the agrochemicals giant, Indofil Industries, was the recent recipient of the prestigious "Outstanding Business Woman of the year" in 2023. She was also honoured by the esteemed Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, for her "Outstanding Contribution to the cause of Corporate Social Responsibility".

While steering the fortunes of the $2.5 billion Group, Bina has taken cognizance of the growth and development under her watch of its diversified businesses across the country- chief amongst them being: Godfrey Phillips (one of the largest FMCG companies in the country), Indofil Industries, Modicare (direct selling), KK Modi Education Group, Modi Stratford Enterprise Management Private Limited and Colorbar (cosmetics).

As an entrepreneur, Bina has made her mark with Bina Fashion, which has a global presence along with the Ego Speciality Restaurant chain; the portfolio of her entrepreneur ventures also includes the Dessange Salon and Beacon Travels, an established player in the travel industry.
