THE CONGRESS MANIFESTO OF KARNATAKA

Despite the unprecedented campaigns and roadshows organized by the ruling party, BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) in Bengaluru, BJP couldn't win big in the state. The roadshows by the Prime Minister himself, right before the elections couldn't manage to create the expected impact on the results of Elections.

As Congress won big in the Karnataka Elections 2023, it is on its way to form the ruling government in the state. The win comes almost a year ahead of the big one--the 2024 Lok Sabha election-- and three state elections later this year. It has released a manifesto which has attracted the attention of everyone around the country. It is generous from which the people of Karnataka could benefit from, if properly implemented as promised. So, the Congress' performance will be closely tracked and the focus will be on delivering the promises made in its manifesto.

The Congress called its Karnataka manifesto 'Sarva Janangada Shanthiya Thota', which translates to peaceful garden for all communities. The manifesto was released by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president, Mallikrjun Kharge in the presence of state chief DK Shivakumar and Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah, who are both contenders for the chief minister's post. With this manifesto, it promises to repeal 'anti-people laws' passed by BJP.
