A Piece of Heaven on Earth

Want to escape from the hustle-bustle of city life? Head to this charming Marriott property, nestled peacefully in the picturesque hills of the strawberry capital of India - Mahabaleshwar.

A NATURE LOVER'S PARADISE

Our five-hour drive from Mumbai to this quaint hill station on the scenic Sahyadri ranges was a little exhausting but one sight of our destination was enough to soothe our tired nerves.

The short buggy ride from the lobby to our villa gave us a quick glimpse of the sprawling property, surrounded by nature in all its glory. The main hotel, designed somewhat like a fortress, is dotted with charming valley-facing villas.

And the nip in the air is a welcome change from the humid city weather. As we settle comfortably in our lavish pool villa, which overlooks the verdant valley and tree-filled hills, we can't help but wonder at how beautiful the earth is.

ALLURING VILLAS

Our spacious and elegantly done up villa at the far end of the property is a hideaway complete with its own private balcony, a plunge pool, generous living area, comfortable bedroom and a huge bathroom. And the décor is a beautiful blend of earthy, contemporary and luxe tones. Our villa is all set to woo us to just stay indoors.
