WEDDING TOURISM INDUSTRY IN INDIA
Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Developing Tourism in Mission Mode', the Indian Ministry of Tourism has launched the 'Wed In India' campaign. This initiative aims to position India as a premier global wedding destination by showcasing its diverse venues. The campaign spotlights about 25 key destinations, each offering unique elements such as scenic landscapes, sacred traditions, world-class infrastructure, and culinary delights. The goal is to blend India's ancient heritage with modern elegance, inviting couples from around the world. Notable destinations like Goa, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jim Corbett, Kerala, and Mussoorie are emerging as popular choices for wedding celebrations.
