A COLORADO man died horribly after his pet lizard Winston bit him and the reptile’s virulent venom cooked his brain!

Christopher Ward, 34, clung to life on a ventilator for four days after the critter — one of his two illegal pet Gila monsters — clamped its jaws onto his hand and refused to let go! Ward’s girlfriend found him in agony after hearing strange noises and rushing to the room where he kept the creatures.

An animal control officer’s report says the hapless Ward “immediately began exhibiting symptoms, vomiting several times and eventually passing out and ceasing to breathe.”
