The past few months have certainly given her plenty to smile about, and she is looking forward to more good times ahead.
In recent weeks, the Australian pop star has been named Global Icon at the Brit Awards and, as her six-month residency in Las Vegas wrapped up, her dream of success in the US came a step closer when she was listed among Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2024 – an honour she described as “extraordinary”.
Further cementing her status as a global superstar was last year’s No. 1 album Tension, featuring her hit single Padam Padam, which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Pop Dance Recording.
“It’s been a wild ride, the past 12 months,” Kylie tells hello! in this exclusive interview. “I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.
“I’m working my socks off, but it’s really rewarding. I love sharing this new era with long-time fans and it’s been amazing to have been introduced to a new generation of fans. I mean, wow!”
Working her socks off is nothing new for Kylie, who is said to be busy recording her 17th studio album as she prepares for a packed summer schedule.
After finishing her stint at the intimate Voltaire venue at Las Vegas’s Venetian Resort in May, she is gearing up for a return to the British Summer Time Festival in London’s Hyde Park in July – her first appearance there in nine years.
She will then head to Budapest in August to headline the Sziget Festival, one of the biggest music festivals in Europe.
