Brooklyn Peltz Beckham on bonding with dad David over a love of fast cars, how mum Victoria was worried about him racing – and why wife Nicola is a convert

He's a published photographer, an accomplished model and a condiments entrepreneur. But recently, the multi-faceted Brooklyn Peltz Beckham swapped the kitchen for life in the fast lane as a Formula E motor-racing driver - and, yes, his famous parents were worried.

Before the eldest of David and Victoria's four children took to a Miami circuit for the fully electric race, he shared his mum and dad's concerns with HELLO!.

"My dad was like: 'Just be careful.' But it's something that me and my dad have definitely bonded [about] over the years," Brooklyn said, speaking at the launch. "We're both into cars, both into racing. He's really excited and he just said: 'Be careful and have fun.'"

His mother Victoria also told him to have fun but take care, while Brooklyn's actress wife Nicola Peltz Beckham was quickly converted to her husband's new pursuit.

"She was a little bit worried," revealed Brooklyn of his wife's reaction.

"Then she saw me in my race outfit, and she was like: 'You should do this as a job. You look really good."
