'Carl knows Katie feels for Pete'

Katie Price and Peter Andre divorced 14 years ago, but a source claims the model still can't get over the love of her life’

It has been 14 years since Katie Price split from Peter Andre, but it appears that her former husband is still having an impact on her – and her relationship.

Last week, Katie’s on/off fiancé Carl Woods revealed that she “can’t get over” Peter and told her it was time to move on. A source has now claimed that Katie never wanted her marriage to Peter to end, telling new the subject has caused a string of rows with Carl, 34.

“Katie’s relationships will never truly work because she’s always going to feel for Pete,” the source said. “She loves to talk about him, she can’t help it. She’s spoken about him in every relationship and compares them to Pete – it’s an ongoing problem.

“It annoys Carl when she brings up Pete and it causes friction and arguments in their already rocky relationship. But Carl knows she’ll never truly get over Pete.

“Katie is never going to let go of him. She feels that letting him leave is the biggest mistake she ever made and doesn’t accept any responsibility for it. As far as she’s concerned, they should still be together.”

During a TikTok livestream from Katie’s account, Carl showed his frustration as she belted out A Whole New World – a song she famously recorded with her ex in 2006. The car salesman teased, “We all like Peter better than you. Peter sings it better than you do.” Katie, 45, snapped back, “Pete’s a professional singer. Can you sing, Carl? I think Carl needs to zip it. As much as I hate Pete, he’s a really good dancer and he can sing fantastic live.”
