Mark Wright has exclusively revealed that the £3.5 million Essex mansion he shares with his wife Michelle Keegan is the couple’s “forever home”.
The former TOWIE star, 36, and his wife of eight years have been renovating the five-bedroom property – which they bought in 2019 for £1.3 million – for three years, finally moving in last summer.
And now, after years of juggling a long-distance relationship, he and former Coronation Street actress Michelle plan on staying put.
Opening up to new about how thrilled he is with the lavish pad, Mark says, “I’m loving it. I hope it’s my forever home. It feels incredible.”
It’s no wonder Mark and Michelle, 35, are keen to make the most of their Essex abode. After getting married in May 2015, the couple were forced to spend long periods of time apart due to their respective filming commitments. While Mark’s TV presenting career took off in the US, Michelle found herself spending long stints filming BBC One’s Our Girl in countries as far-flung as South Africa, Nepal and Malaysia.
The couple relied on video calls to communicate, with Michelle admitting at the time that it was “tough” and “thank God for FaceTime”. She also confessed to being on a “countdown the whole time to just get home”.
And Mark, who says he’s still in close contact with his Extra co-host Mario Lopez, tells new he has no plans to move back to the US – unless a dream TV gig lands in his lap.
