After her public cancer update video in September, the Princess of Wales has made an under-the-radar return to work. But she's also made some very important moves for her future role in the United States.

Last week, six months after she first publicly announced her diagnosis and said she'd be stepping down from official royal duties, Kate held a meeting at Windsor Castle with some of her Centre for Early Childhood team signalling - albeit quietly-that she's back.

But, in an even bigger indicator of what's to come, it has also emerged that Kate and William have just signed and submitted a document to the United States Patent and Trademark Office in preparation for the official launch of their Royal Foundation charity in America.

With the inclusion of "healthcare services relating to mental health" in the application, a source told us that the crossover between the Prince and Princess of Wales' Foundation and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Archewell Foundation is undeniable, and could lead to something of a Stateside turf war.
