'Lonely' Christine isn't up for dating

Christine McGuinness has insisted she’s “not interested” in dating after shutting down reports she got close to a footballer.

The former model, 35, confessed she’s “not in the right place” to be “dating”, 15 months after she announced her separation from her husband Paddy McGuinness.

And now a source has told new that while Christine is “feeling lonely” she’s also “happy in herself”. “It’s a nice kind of lonely,” the source claimed. “Christine’s embracing the time to be single and think about herself.”

Taking to Instagram last week, the reality star felt forced to set the record straight after rumours she and former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard “were chatting for ages” and “looked pretty close” while both at the Sexy Fish restaurant in Manchester.

“This man approached me inviting me to his restaurant, so I thought he was a restaurant owner – I had no idea who he was,” she said. “No offence, I’m sure he was a lovely fella, but I politely declined. I said no I can’t, I was at Pride Of Britain so I couldn’t go and that was it. That’s it, that’s the story.
