There might be a trend for noughties bands to get back together at the moment - think Busted, S Club 7 and Blue - but according to Suzanne Shaw, who shot to fame in the group Hear'Say, she and her fellow bandmates won't be reuniting any time soon.
"It would be wonderful, but I think that [chapter] is closed," says the 41-year-old, who was in the band with Myleene Klass, Noel Sullivan, Danny Foster and Kym Marsh. "I just don't get the sense that we are all on the same page and as much as I would love to and that would be amazing - I have very fond memories of that time. But I think it would have happened by now if that would have been an option."
The band was put together on the ITV talent show, Popstars, in early 2001, but Kym left less than a year later and the band announced their split in October 2002. In the short time they were together, they had four hit singles - including their chart-topping debut Pure And Simple.
Suzanne has nothing but happy memories when she looks back on those days and says she and her former bandmates still share a strong bond.
"I'm really proud of everybody and I'm really close to all of them," she says. "It's so nice to see people getting on with their lives and, if you think about it, we were in the band for a really short time together. Kym was in Corrie way longer than she was in Hear'Say. We work with other people, but we will never have a bond like that with anybody else. It's unique to us, even though it was a very short period of time."
