Two decades after Victoria Beckham was rocked by allegations of her husband’s rumoured affair with personal assistant Rebecca Loos, she and David have finally opened up about the damage the allegations caused.
Speaking in the explosive new Netflix docuseries Beckham, Victoria, 49, admits she was “the most unhappy” she’s ever been at the time, describing it as the “hardest period” of her marriage.
And if anyone knows what it’s like to see reports of their husband’s rumoured infidelity splashed across the front pages, it’s Coleen Rooney. Posh’s fellow WAG not only supported her at the height of the Rebecca Loos scandal, but she’s also been providing a shoulder to lean on as Victoria reopens old wounds in the new Netflix shows.
“No one knows what it’s like for Victoria better than Coleen,” our source said. “She has reached out to Posh about the alleged affair and to say well done for the documentary.
“What goes around comes around in terms of support, and Coleen and Victoria have been there for each other at various times over the years. They’ve seen what each other has been through and handled it really well.
“Coleen is a real girl’s girl, she’s always there for her friends and she knows the real ones from the fake ones, as we’ve seen. She knows what it’s like living that life.”
