It has been almost four years since Coleen Rooney's famous "Wagatha Christie" post went viral around the globe and last week, she broke her silence for the first time.
Gracing the September cover of Vogue magazine, Coleen, dressed in a detective's coat, is pictured staring down the camera lens alongside the heroic words, "Wife, mother, detective, superstar."
Fans say the magazine cover is "truly iconic" and "one that will go down in history". Coleen has most definitely come out on top in one of the showbiz world's most bitter feuds ever.
The word "detective" refers to Coleen's legendary October 2019 Instagram post in which she outed fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy as the person who had been leaking fake stories that Coleen had cunningly planted on her own personal Instagram account. The post explained that Coleen had blocked all bar one account from seeing the stories, and it culminated in the infamous reveal: "It was... Rebekah Vardy's account."
What followed was a three-year very public battle in the High Court between the former friends, after Rebekah, 41, tried to sue Coleen for defamation. Rebekah lost the case - and an estimated £3 million in costs - last October.
"You can't go wrong if you're telling the truth," Coleen, 37, tells Vogue, explaining that she still stands by everything she said in the post.
