Abbie Cornish 'I'm happy being single'

Not many stars are happy sharing personal details about their life, so it's something of a surprise when the usually private Abbie Cornish candidly sets the record straight on her relationship status.

"I'm single at the moment," she confirms to WHO. "I live a pretty quiet private life."

Engaged to MMA fighter Adel Altamimi in 2019, Cornish is now on her own by choice and says she couldn't be happier as she embraces her forties.

"I definitely have, just as a woman, been really happy turning 40," Cornish says over Zoom from her home in Los Angeles. "I've probably felt the best I've ever felt in my life and in many different ways: mentally, physically, spiritually. It's across the board and it was something I didn't see coming. I've really, really loved this transition and this chapter in my life so far and it's only getting better. I don't feel any pressure in terms of time or age. I just don't. And I think some of that is because of the way that I've lived my life up until this point and the choices that I've made."
