DANIEL MACPHERSON 'I FEEL GOOD!'

About 18 months ago, Daniel MacPherson decided to hit the reset button. It was time to get back to his best"physically, mentally, spiritually and everything in-between". For the next three months, he did just that, through a variety of disciplines including training, diet and meditation. He emerged as someone more present as a dad, as a partner and as a creative.

"As I was moving into my early forties after navigating the first years of parenting, and the uncertainty of the pandemic years -I was wanting to really get back to getting the best out of myself," he tells WHO."[Now] my clarity has soared and with that, so has the quality of my work, my relationships and, ultimately, my happiness."

MacPherson, 44, has just begun an intensive theatre run opposite John Waters in The Woman in Black, which will take him around the country over the next few months. And while maintaining the balance in his life will be challenging, it is a top priority.

"I'm well-seasoned at touring and living out of a suitcase. I really only need a pair of running shoes and an AeroPress to make my coffee and I'm sweet," he explains.

Hardest for him will be his time away from his son Austin, 4, who he shares with his ex-wife, fellow actress Zoë Ventoura. He is clearly at the centre of MacPherson's world and being his dad just gets "better and better".
