Back in the spotlight as she promotes her Christmas rom-com, Lindsay Lohan is quite clearly a changed woman. While some observers may be focussing on her physical appearance, it’s getting her “sparkle” back that has made the real and lasting difference to the 38-year-old actress.

“I think definitely when you’re good on the inside, that shows through,” Lohan told The Today Show with Hoda and Jenna.

Once a Hollywood “wild child” whose battles with addiction and the law played out in public, she has in more recent years enjoyed what has been dubbed a “Lohanaissance”, now peaking with the release of Netflix Christmas extravaganza Our Little Secret. It marks her third consecutive rom-com for the streaming service, following 2022's Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish in March.

While she’s back on top professionally, it’s what has happened personally that’s been the most profound.
