A year after exchanging vows with director Taika Waititi during an intimate London wedding ceremony in August 2022, singer Rita Ora says she’s a big fan of married life.

“I love it. I know it sounds cheesy when people say how you really know when you meet ‘The One’, but it’s true,” she tells WHO. “I love rom-coms and love stories, but I never thought it could be like that for me, but it really is.”

The high-profile pair had been good friends for years, meeting after being introduced by Robert Pattinson at a house party in 2018. They got even closer when their careers brought them to Australia, with Ora working as a coach on The Voice and Waititi filming Thor: Love and Thunder. The couple first went public when Ora shared photos of the two cuddling via her Instagram in April 2021.

Since then, they've kept their love life relatively low-key, but a day after her wedding, Ora started recording You & I, her most personal album to date.
