MUMBAI-BASED pop artist Mali aka Maalavika Manoj is headed to South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Sydney this October, slated for performances between Oct. 16 and 19, 2024.
Mali, who also performed at music conference and showcase festival Music Matters in Singapore earlier this year, says she simply applied through the SXSW Sydney website and got through. "Australia is home to some of my favorite bands and is a huge English music market. Also, I've never been there and this would be a great chance for me to travel the country and experience it through the lens of music," she adds.
