NEW COMEDY
Black Ops
Friday, 9.30pm (Wales, 10.40pm), BBC1 (box set, BBC iPlayer)
Two police community support officers are thrust into the murky world of undercover surveillance in BBC1’s new comedy Black Ops.
Co-created by Gbemisola Ikumelo and Akemnji Ndifornyen, of BBC3’s Famalam fame, the six-parter follows no-nonsense PCSO Dom (Ikumelo) and her clumsy sidekick Kay (Hammed Animashaun) as they finally get the responsibility they crave when they’re recruited for a secret drugs sting.
